It took great minds, lots of hands and streams of data: The milestones of the NEXT Conference programme are set! In one International Track and six vertical theme tracks, titled Commerce, Media, Mobile, Social, Branding, and Technology, numerous prominent speakers will present their ideas, opinions and concepts on our conference motto “Data Love”.

„Data is beautiful“
On the NEXT main stage we’ll address the rising flood of data, what it actually means and how data may even be entertaining and beautiful. Wednesday – the second conference day – will be all about the big picture: How come the small ideas sometimes convey the best effect? How can data be embodied and how does this change our life?

Data, Trade and Commerce
The theme track “Commerce” will outline the growing significance of data on today’s retail. How does the behaviour of vendors and consumers change through new online-based formats and how should businesses react to these changes? The branding sector has to bear with new challenges as well. Customers and consumers more and more expect user involvement. The theme track “Branding” will illustrate the creative purpose and methods of sustainable brands.

How Data Love Changes our Communication – Professionally and Personally
How smart phones and communication behaviour influences – today and in the future – our professional and leisure time will be explored in the “Mobile” track. Foremost within the social web new challenges arise in regard to handling data. There is the benefit of an enormous coverage as well as fresh and exciting communication formats, and on the other hand there are complex questions of data safety. These and more questions will be discussed within the “Social” theme track.

The Click is dead, stop loving it!
The theme track “Media” exposes the paradigm shift in the online marketing sector. Conventional methods of measuring online media efficency such as clicks and ad impressions have been substituted by new performance indicators. On a technical level data volume must become controllable and should become usable in its best possible way. How this, e.g. with the help of the cloud, can be realised will be demonstrated by the experts in the theme track “Technology”.

Award-winning Professionals and Best Newcomers on the NEXT Stage
The innovative founder scene will also have its a chance at NEXT – next to the sessions in the regular tracks: Promising start-ups will be introduced on the NEXT Stage. Moreover, the Art Directors Club Germany will present the award-winning works and campaigns of the digital scene, celebrated and awarded during the ADC festival. Beyond this, practical questions on marketing topics will be discussed in separate workshops.
