Line-up for NEXT Service Design: Keynote speakers announced

It’s been only two weeks since we announced NEXT Service Design. Since then, our curators Blundstone and Peter have been working hard – and today, we’re happy to present the conference’s line-up to you.

The keynote speakers will be:

Pedro Custódio (Experience Designers GmbH)
Lisa Lindström (Doberman)
Andy Hobsbawm (Evrythng)
Alexander Baumgardt (Systemic Partners)
Paul Sims (Made by Many)
Chris Downs (Method)
David Bausola (Philter Phactory)
Louisa Heinrich (Fjord)
Sami Niemelä (Nordkapp)

The conference will focus the design of digital services – which are closely connected to technological developments like the Internet of things.

Andy Hobsbawm will shed light on this relationship. He co-developed the software Evrythng, which provides any object with additional digital services – even analogue ones like musical instruments or furniture.

Lisa Lindström (Doberman) will discuss design aspects. Service design is much more than just a new approach to the strategic positioning of products and services: Using design methods offers true value for both the design and management services.

Pedro Custódio will share some insights on how to tailor amazing customer experiences in order to create valuable futures. His credo is that neither features nor design by themselves create meaningful and attractive differentiation for products and services.

Want to see those keynotes live on stage? Get your ticket now! But hurry: Earlybirds are only available until 10 September 2012 – or as long as stocks last.
