Mike Butcher, editor of TechCrunch, moderated the Hot Seat Sessions at NEXT Berlin’s Start-up Track 2012. In the first round, Christian Weiss (Project A) and Stephan Breidenbach (Betterplace) answered Mike’s questions regarding how to become Germany’s next top start-up.

The two interviewees came from opposing perspectives: Project A is an incubator, of course, aiming at making a profit with supporting start-ups. Betterplace on the other hand is a non-profit organisation for social projects aiming at making the world a better place. Even though their purposes differed, the means for being successful seem to be very similar.
