These Start-ups will pitch at NEXT14

Start-ups from all over Europe applied for a presentation slot at NEXT14. 28 of them made it into the next round. Here they are!

NEXT Berlin is once again an important platform for entrepreneurs from all over Europe. 28 start-ups made it into our semi-finals and will present their new business ideas at the conference to an audience of digital experts, investors and media representatives. During the two-day event on May 5-6 we will present a special Start-up Stage for founders, their topics and pitches. Today we announce the list of semi-finalists whose ideas convinced the community and an expert jury in two previous rounds.

The successful candidates will pitch in four sessions on the first conference day, moderated by Milo Yiannopoulos and Colette Ballou. Our jury members Jess Erickson (Geekettes), Matt Cooper (Elance /oDesk), Christoph Gerlinger (German Start-ups Group Berlin), Philipp Möhring (AngelList), Shira Abel (Hunter & Bard), Claudia Helming (DaWanda), Alex Farcet (Startupbootcamp), Alexander Hofmann (Gründerszene), Ayelet Noff (Blonde 2.0), Claudius Gerstner (némata) and Morten Lund (Serial Entrepeneur) will then choose the four finalists.

The best start-up in each of the four sessions will pitch once again on the Dome Stage – right after the keynote of Federal Minister Thomas de Maizière on May 6. Jury chairman Morten Lund will lead the Final Pitch Session and the Award Ceremony on the second conference day.

The winner will receive a lot of international attention, plus a prize package consisting of cash, a mentoring programme by Shira Abel, a Silicon Valley Tour plus workspace for three months in Berlin or London both offered by our partner Startupbootcamp Berlin.
