When the techno brass band Die Meute entered the stage at NEXT16 on Thursday morning, my heart jumped. Seeing the results of a full year of planning and hard work by numerous fantastic people finally unfold live on stage, shook me somehow.

This was my fifth NEXT conference, but the first as Head of NEXT. NEXT Co-founder Martin Recke welcomed me on board in 2012 and I am so grateful that he kick-started my personal digital transformation by giving me the chance to join the NEXT-team. This year, I took over responsibility for his baby and am so happy we delivered it well.

That this year’s conference was so successful is down to many, many people, including those behind the scenes at SinnerSchrader, FAKTOR 3, FAKTOR 3 Design and at our many premium and production partners. Not forgetting, of course, our brilliant speakers and the enthusiasm of the audience. So thank you all for making this year’s event extra special!

We learned a lot, we had so much fun, we really enjoyed the experience – and hope you did as well.

Our partner nextMedia.Hamburg has conducted interviews with most of our main speakers – check it out! Videos from the talks will be published on our website over the coming days and weeks. Some speakers will upload their presentations to Slideshare as well.
