Joel Berger ist Managing Director bei der Social Community MySpace. Vor der Übernahme der Geschäftsführung von MySpace war er bei MTV Networks als Mitglied der Geschäftsführung für das gesamte digitale Angebot der Sendergruppe mit den Kanälen MTV, Viva, Nick und Comedy Central verantwortlich. Zuvor leitete er bei MTV Networks den Bereich Marketing und New Business. Vor seinem Wechsel zu der Sendergruppe steuerte Berger als Director New Media bei Sony Music das Internetangebot und die interaktiven Geschäftsmodelle.
Zu seinen beruflichen Erfolgen gehören u.a. der Convergators Award 2006, der Red Dot Design Award 2001 und der Grimme Online Award 2001.
Joel Berger is the Managing Director of the social community MySpace.
Prior to taking over the management of MySpace, Berger worked at MTV Networks as a member of the management where he was in charge of the complete digital products of the broadcasting group with its channels MTV, Viva, Nick and Comedy Central. Previously, he has managed the Marketing and New Business departments at MTV Networks. Before he switched to the broadcasting group he managed as the New Media Director the internet products and interactive business models at Sony Music.
