Chris Messina, Vidoop
Chris Messina is employed as an open web advocate at identity company Vidoop. He is the co-founder of Citizen Agency. He graduated from Carnegie Mellon University in 2003 with a BA in Communication Design.
Messina is best known for his involvement in helping to create the BarCamp, Spread Firefox, and coworking movements. He is an active proponent of microformats, OAuth and serves on the board of the OpenID Foundation. He has spoken at numerous conferences around the world and has been quoted in national publications such as The New York Times, Business Week, LA Times, MIT Technology Review and Wired.
