Christiane Strasse, projektwerk

Christiane Strasse is founder and CEO of projektwerk with 10 years of entrepreneurial experience. In 1999 she established projektwerk as the internet based marketplace for SME and freelance projects and resources, mainly in the IT and consulting sector.

Strasse has been dealing with the concept of flexibility in organisations and Human Resources since 15 years. From 1992-1998, she worked as a scientific officer at the I.P.A. at the Helmut-Schmidt University of Hamburg, achieving her PhD on the economic relevance of self- development in 1997. She was head of various international research projects on the flexibility of HR on management level as well as projects on intercultural management within international joint ventures. In 1997, on behalf of the European Commission, she set up an international expert network with participants from 15 European countries. In 1998, at W&P Consulting, she developed a concept for an expert-pool and created innovative recruiting strategies.
