Jean-Pierre Fumagalli, smartclip

In March 2008 Jean-Pierre Fumagalli founded smartclip, the market-leading online video advertising company in Europe. As founder & CEO of smartclip, he is in charge of the strategy and development of the company.

Prior to founding smartclip, Fumagalli occupied the position of Managing Director Sales Lycos Germany with responsibility for the entire online advertising business. He was heading the sales offices in Hamburg, Dusseldorf and Gütersloh and was in charge of both direct customer and agency business.

Before Lycos, Fumagalli negotiated as lawyer international film, tv and music licenses, i.e. for Trimark Pictures in Los Angeles and Studio Hamburg.
