Jon Froda, Hoist

Jon Froda is Co-Founder and Partner at Hoist. In 2006 he joined forces with Anders Pollas to build the company Hoist and they launched their first product, 'OurHoist' in June 2007. 'OurHoist' is a hosted social media platform aimed at enhancing knowledge sharing in teams across projects and professional networks.

Froda is dedicated to social media and online-communities and the opportunities they pose to society, individuals and business. He studied International business and modern languages at Copenhagen Business School. Here, he did his Bachelor project on "intangibles in service products". And in 2006, he and Jesper Bindslev handed in their masters thesis on corporate blogging, based on extensive research at Microsoft and interviews with pioneers within the field of employee and business blogging.
