Sad news came in from Engadget and Loïc Le Meur today: Violet, the company behind the cute wifi rabbit called Nabaztag, has run out of money.
Unfortunately it might become one of those cases when the entrepreneur is right too early and gets out of funding, add the recession times to that and Violet, the company behind the Nabaztag just filed for bankruptcy according to the French blog Journal du Geek (french).
Any company interested in continuing the rabbit adventures can make an offer until September 4th to buy parts or the whole of the company to continue its activity that generated 2.25 million euros in 2008.
