Annalisa Bluhm, General Motors

ABLuhm_160.jpgSince joining General Motors in 2005, Annalisa Esposito Bluhm, 29, has held multiple positions throughout her tenure including Internal, Design and Product Development, Social Media as well as Finance and Corporate communications. Within each assignment, she has applied her passion for and expertise in social and consumer media. Most notably, Bluhm led social media efforts supporting GM's Chapter 11 process and is one of the voices behind GMBlogs social media activities across the web including Facebook and Twitter. Currently, she is traveling across Asia, the Middle East, Africa and South America developing targeted social and consumer media based programs for more than 12 countries. Prior to joining GM, Bluhm directed digital media and search engine optimization for a Michigan based Information Technology firm as well as taught communication courses at Eastern Michigan University. Annalisa Bluhm holds Bachelor degrees in Political Science and Communications as well as a Masters degree in Communications from Eastern Michigan University.
