Donata Hopfen, BILD digital

Since January 2010, Donata Hopfen is Managing Director of BILD digital, responsible for the online activities of BILD in the Internet and on mobile phones. Previously, she served as General Manager responsible for BILDmobil, i.e. the mobile phone tariff offering, the mobile portal as well as the applications of Europe's biggest newspaper. Prior to her job at BILDmobil Donata Hopfen was Head of Business Development in the Electronic Media Department of Axel Springer AG since 2006. Previously, from 2003 - 2006, she was first in the dual role as Assistant to the Executive Board and head of business development and strategy at the Bild.T-Online, a joint venture between Axel Springer and Deutsche Telekom operates, later she was responsible for product management and development of Germany's leading general interest news site.

Before her activity at the Axel Springer AG Donata Hopfen worked from 2000 - 2003 in the Strategy Practice at Accenture, focusing on media and telecommunications. Donata Hopfen holds degrees in business administration from the Universities in Madrid and Reutlingen.
