Harald Kratel, Madaus, Licht + Vernier

Harald (Harry) Kratel Advertising executive residing in Hamburg, Germany. He is married and the couple have one daughter. In 1986 he started his career in the financial realm of Germany's Bertelsmann AG, Europe's largest Media empire, first as CFO of UfaSports (Now SportFIVE), then continuing with his second responsibility as CFO of AOL Europe.

In 2000, he became Managing Director of all Internet activities at Gruner+Jahr, Europe's largest magazine publisher and printing house, a division of the Bertelmann AG empire. Harry is now recognized as a foremost expert in various segments of Europe's
Internet industry. From 2005 to 2009, Kratel embarked on a tenure as COO of Parship GmbH, Europe's leading dating service touting serious relationships (known as the eHarmony of Europe), responsible for the internationalization of Parship into 14 countires.

In February of 2010, Harry Kratel became a Managing Director of Madaus, Licht + Vernier GmbH, a premier full service advertising agency in Hamburg, Germany.
