Javier Lorente, Telefónica

Javier Lorente is Global Project Manager at Telefónica. He has been working in Mobile Data for the last 12 years, gathering experience in both network and Value Added Services over CSD, GPRS, SMS, MMS, UMTS, DVB-H, RTP and other technologies that allow the delivery of mobile content. Lorente has been involved in Mobile Internet since the early stages of the preWAP technology and acted as responsible for Emoción (Content Portal of MoviStar) in the period 2000-2009. His role in Telefónica has given him experience in the different markets and regions and allowed him to share views with most of the players in this arena, accumulating a broad experience in all Mobile Content Delivery ecosystems: Gaming, Music, Search, Mobile TV, Advertising, Applications... He has collaborated in several strategy teams and have been part of the Telefonica global taskforces during the last years.

Lorente is now part of the Mobile Data Group, the Telefónica Competence Center for Content and Services with a worldwide reach, being involved amongst other projects in the new User Experience for delivering applications and services for all markets.
