Tilman Buchner, Scout24

Tilman Buchner is Head of Competence Center Mobile Products & Services at Scout24 Group. He is responsible for the transformation of the Scout24 market places AutoScout24, ImmobilienScout24, JobScout24, FriendScout24 und FinanceScout24 into the mobile internet. With more than 500.000 downloads in total his team has developed one of the most successful iPhone applications in Germany.

Buchner is an expert in mobile IT technologies and a thought leader in how to monetize the mobile internet. He focuses in his work on the smart combination of push notification, in-app purchase as well as location based services. Previously to his current position he was with Roland Berger Strategy Consultants.

Tilman Buchner received a Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Aachen Technical University and holds a master`s degree in business administration. Studies aboard at Seoul National University as well as Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) have shaped his academic career.
