Bloggers are welcome!

By Djure Meinen |

Blogger, video blogger, podcast producer, twitterati! Spring time is event time. I’ve got several events coming up on my schedule: Videocamp in February, BarCampRuhr in March and of course re:publica in April. The final highlight event in May will be NEXT11 at STATION-Berlin. This year’s motto is DATA LOVE.

Round about 100 bloggers will have the chance to not only meet and report about the conference but also to talk to the organisers and chat with the speakers. The selection, invitation and support will be my responsibility in agreement with NEXT and pr://ip. About 40 bloggers can be invited. Among them should be at least 20 international bloggers. The remaining 60 will have the opportunity to save a ticket with special conditions. Hence, a regular blogger ticket will cost 190 EUR (+fee+VAT), students may snatch an even cheaper ticket.

We already do have ideas who we’d like to invite. But we’re open for more suggestions. We’re looking forward to your ideas and applications. Who should not be missing? Which international bloggers do you want to meet? Which of the latter would you personally invite? Who is the current insider tip? Who is the best video blogger? Which podcast should not be left out? Why would you want to be a part of NEXT?

We’d love to receive suggestions and applications via blog posts. Nevertheless, you could also comment on this post, tweet, mail, chat with us – or send us a package full of easter bunnies. Or just talk to us directly at the Videocamp, BarCampRuhr or at re:publica.

Go for it! We’re looking forward to your ideas!
