Start-ups can now apply in NEXT Elevator Pitch
It’s time to share some love again. Our heart beats for start-ups as we’re proud to present the NEXT Elevator to you. Start-up founders can now apply in our new pitch format. The community will vote and choose who’ll be presenting at NEXT.
It’s the chance to present your start-up not only to our European audience but also to be seen and judged by an Venture Capital expert panel. First step is to apply at elevator.nextconf.eu. Second step will be to promote your proposal and let the community love and vote for your idea. Out of all suggestions the 30 proposals which receive the most votes will be presented to our jury. They will select 12 start-ups, which will be invited to the NEXT11 stage on May 17th. And it doesn’t stop here: Out of these 12 our jury will award the very best start-up.
The NEXT Elevator was initiated together with Hanse Ventures and is supported by Wired UK as media partner. We’re very happy to welcome in our expert jury: Ola Ahlvarsson (Result), Marco Börries (NumberFour AG), Alexander von Frankenberg (High-Tech Gründerfonds), Maks Giordano (juuman´okudo), Stefan Glänzer (White Bear Yard), Olaf Jacobi (Target Partners), Christoph Räthke (Founder Institute), Boris Veldhuijzen van Zanten (The Next Web) and Sarik Weber (Hanse Ventures).
Who can apply? We are looking for young founders, founder teams or start-ups in early stage (not older than twelve months) with innovative ideas and sustainable business models in the Internet and e-commerce industry. The idea should not be funded at the time of application. Each applicant is allowed to send in one proposal.
Sounds great? Go for it! We accept your proposal until April 17th. Check out our full press release for further information.
PS: Proposing is fun but not enough? We have special start-up conditions for you to be part of our expo area.
