Hello, and welcome to 2013. As the new working year gets underway, I’d just like to wish you a happy, successful and prosperous 2013.

Obviously, we’re looking forwards to this year’s NEXT Berlin conference, in a new venue, with a new theme. We hope you’ll join us in Berlin in April for two days of looking at what the future holds – and how to navigate its dangers.

This blog itself is entering its second year in the current format – and we’re having some discussion about what we might do next. We’ll share those developments with you as soon as we have more to say. In the meantime, while we’re contemplating some changes in what we do here on the NEXT blog, you can remain reassured that our focus will be on giving you a taste of what’s coming next – the trends and ideas that will redefine the world in three to five years, not just news about the latest app.
