Inspire the NEXT crowd

By Ina Feistritzer

24/03/2015 | Our Call for Participation for NEXT15 is now open! For our tenth edition of the conference, we are inviting everyone to take an active part in inspiring and connecting the great NEXT crowd! Please let us know about your idea for a talk, workshop or - even better - something completely different and unexpected that would enhance our event in September.

Simply pitch your relevant and entertaining idea before the deadline of May 31st - and include a short video. You can also propose any speaker you would particularly like to meet at NEXT15, or support others’ proposals.

Last year we had more than 100 submissions from fantastic digital professionals, from all around the world. (We even had a proposal from as far away as Peru.) Among the submissions was, for example, one from design researcher Florian Hemmert. He made it onto the big stage with an entertaining talk asking: “What does it mean to be human in a digital age? And how do we relate to our smartphones?”.

Less talk, more (inter)action

We want NEXT15 to be less keynote and more interaction. So surprise us! Think out of the box. Don’t bore people with a product pitch, aim to inspire the NEXT audience. People will come from all sectors, but their main focus will be on how to prepare their companies for the digital age.

This year, we will be turning the spotlight on the consumers and want to view everything from their perspectives:

  • How will we live, love, move, make or shop in the future?
  • And what do behavioural changes imply for marketers?

Keep these questions in mind when pitching your idea.

Entertaining contributions are also more than welcome, as NEXT15 will be part of the fantastic Reeperbahn Festival for the first time.

We are looking forward to receiving your input. Together with the programme curators Peter Bihr and Monique van Dusseldorp we will pick the most inspiring ideas for NEXT15.
