Bridging Worlds: Transgenerational Dialogues on Optimism, Technology, and Learnings from the Global South

Join us for a live podcast experience hosted by experience strategist Oskar and his father, entrepreneur Michael Trautmann, at the NEXT conference. In their podcast “Zoomer meets Boomer”, they focus on intergenerational mentoring and explore various work-related topics from their different generational perspectives, with the aim of bridging the gap between the generations towards a more positive outlook on the future. Their discussions emphasize that although we are all socialized differently, we have more in common than we think. Covering topics such as effective goal setting, reverse mentoring and corporate culture, they show how our different perspectives can foster mutual understanding and respect. They believe in challenging generational stereotypes and finding common ground beyond the concept of generations.
In this live podcast, they explore the intersection of age, family, culture and technology through the unique perspectives of three generations and how we can shift our outlook from pessimism to promise. Joined by esteemed professor and author Payal Arora, Oskar and Michael will deep dive into the insights from Payal’s book and keynote on optimism in the face of global challenges, lessons from the global south, and the potential for feminist approaches to shape future technologies. This cross-generational dialogue will reveal how different generations view the digital world and discuss strategies to make the world a better place by integrating diverse global insights and fostering a more collaborative cultural approach. Building bridges between cultures and generations.
