Connectivity vs. Connection: Everything is Transformed by Experiences
The value of connection becomes tangible when it is absent.
In our every day life we are so much used to being connected and using connectivity services, that we are dependent on it. We as users feel empowered by orchestrating everything digitally but get distracted from one of another at the same time. What happens? While being occupied with sending out information and fixing tasks quickly we loose the ability to listen to each other and understand what is going on. Connectivity doesn’t mean that we are connected with our peers and customers. What we need is connection. Regaining a meaningful connection to customers requires a fundamental transformation of the systems. These are built by ourselves. So don’t blame it on the systems. Take it into your own hands.
