Designing the End of the Consumer Lifecycle (Please RSVP)

Please RSVP here.

Who is it for?
This workshop is for anyone involved in product development — whether you’re in engineering, design, UX, marketing, customer service, reverse logistics, or compliance. If your work touches any part of the product journey, this session will help you consider what happens at the end of that journey (something often overlooked). Professionals across sectors have taken the Endineering course and found it a powerful tool for solving some of the toughest challenges in consumerism today.

What will you learn?
In this interactive session, you’ll be introduced to the core principles of Endineering — a method for designing thoughtful, strategic endings in the consumer lifecycle.

You’ll learn how to identify the different types of endings within your product or service, characterise and analyse these endings to uncover insights, understand the needs and behaviours of consumers during off-boarding experiences, and apply new frameworks to improve or reimagine endings — whether digital, physical, or service-based. You’ll also explore how endings function as a narrative and how to reveal them in meaningful, user-centric ways.

The session blends instruction, hands-on activities, and group discussion. You’ll work with practical models and build both confidence and vocabulary around designing endings.

Why attend?
Most problems in consumerism are addressed with technical, legal, or economic fixes — but rarely with designed, intentional, branded approaches for the end of the consumer experience.

This workshop offers a fresh approach. You’ll learn how to create consumer-centric endings that are clear, empathetic, and future-facing. You’ll gain tools and language to bring this thinking back to your team and become part of a growing global community shaping the future of how we end things — responsibly, creatively, and beneficial for business.
