While, according to a Danish proverb, “it is difficult to make predictions, especially about the future” most of us agree that today’s digital technologies will have a massive impact on our future society.
And although the goal of education should be to provide students with the necessary skills for this future, the expected impact of digital technologies hasn’t lead to any fundamental changes in how we educate students today.
In this talk, I want to present our idea of a future-proof skill set, how we used this idea to create a new kind of university based on a curiosity-driven learning concept, and how this approach could help transform education and prepare students for the digital future.
