The End of Output Creativity

We’re wired to start with the end in mind. “Make me a film.” “Build me a campaign.” “Choreograph a dance about love.” But what if the output isn’t the starting point—but the constraint?

In this immersive performance, JM and Brett take the stage to challenge the all-too-familiar “Output First” mindset. First, you’ll witness the traditional creative process in action: a clear task, a defined goal, a dance choreographed on demand. But then the frame shifts.

What happens when we flip the script and start with input instead? When creative direction comes not from a fixed deliverable but from the people, perspectives, and unpredictable forces in the room?

Audience members will be invited to shape the performance in real time—suggesting ideas, shifting perspectives, and co-creating alongside the artists. Sound, movement, lighting, and visuals evolve iteratively. And somewhere in the mix, AI agents are embedded silently influencing the stage with no one, not even the performers, fully in control.

This is more than a show. It’s a live exploration of emergence, collaboration, and trust in the unknown. When input leads, what becomes possible?
