Welcome to the best place on earth
At least that’s what people in Hamburg like to call their city. No doubt, it certainly is one of the most interesting cities in Europe. Here’s what you’ll need to know about how to get to the beautiful home of NEXT18.
Staying in style
There are numerous accommodation options across the city, be they hotels, hostels, apartments or cruise ships. For NEXT18, we can offer you a valuable deal with the amazing ‘25hours Hotel Hafencity’. Experience the best service with cosy rooms and a great view, located between Elbphilharmonie, Hamburg harbour and the Reeperbahn. We have a limited number of rooms available (price: 216 EUR per night per person in single rooms, 242 EUR per night per person in double rooms, breakfast included). If you want to book a room (first come first served), just write an email to [email protected].
...or up in the air.
If you’d prefer to fly, we’ve got something good for you here: The Lufthansa Group Airlines (including Lufthansa, Eurowings, Austrian, SWISS and Brussels Airlines) are offering attractive flight options exclusively for NEXT18 participants. That means more flexibility when choosing your travel times and benefitting from numerous direct flight connections. To book your flight now, please click on the button below and enter the access code DEZQISQ in the ‘Offer for discounted flights’ section. (Please make sure that pop-ups are allowed in your browser.)
With its location, the Elbe and the Alster, it is, for my taste, Germany's most beautiful city.Karl Lagerfeld about the City of Hamburg
Getting around in Hamburg
All NEXT18 venues are located around the Reeperbahn. The best way to get there is by taking the regional train S1/S2/S3 to the station ‘Reeperbahn’ or the subway line U3 to ‘St. Pauli’. The public service transport in Hamburg is operated by HVV (Hamburger Verkehrsverbund). Please note that your NEXT18 ticket does not include the use of HVV, so you’ll need to use the vending machines or the mobile app.
Want to request or pre-order a cab? Here are some taxi companies for you: Hansa Taxi (Phone: +49/40 – 211 211), Taxi Hamburg (+49 40 – 66 66 66) or Das Taxi (+49/ 40 – 22 11 22). You can also download the MyTaxi App which shows all taxis in your area. Call one and pay the driver via the app.
