Stefan Mey, 30, is co-founder of the online dating start-up Loverty. The matchmaking company aims to change the German market of online dating by offering a real freemium model and pursuing a philosophy of transparency and fairness.

With his journalistic and sociological background he always feels as a sort of stranger in the world of technology and web. He is interested in the field at which creativity and business meet. On his private media economy blog he explores this field by making interviews with the most interesting web personalities.

Last year he has finished studying journalism at the FU Berlin and sociology at the University of Potsdam. At the moment he receives a scholarship at the Start-up Incubator of the Berlin Beuth Hochschule.
