Adrienne Mong is an award-winning journalist and the Vice President of International Newsgathering for NBC News, based in London. She oversees international news coverage, managing teams across the EMEA region and coordinating global assignments.
From 2007 to 2011, Adrienne was based in Beijing for NBC News, first as a producer and later as a correspondent. During this time, she covered major events in China, including the 2008 Beijing Olympics, Tibet unrest, Xinjiang riots, and the Sichuan earthquake. Her reporting extended beyond China, covering the war in Afghanistan, the capture of Muammar Gaddafi in Libya, the Haiti earthquake, and the Japan quake-tsunami.
Before joining NBC in 2002, she worked at CNN, APTN, CNBC Asia, and Asia Society in Hong Kong.
Adrienne holds degrees from the University of Chicago and the School of Oriental & African Studies (SOAS). Her journalism has been recognized with multiple accolades, including two Emmy Awards, a Gracie Award, and a Headliner Award.
