Alexander has executed digital marketing, branding and business development strategies for numerous international brands and agencies over the last 25 years. His professional career includes management positions at DMG Media (Beijing), BBH (London), Spotify (Stockholm), Deutsche Telekom (Bonn), AT&T Unisource (Amsterdam) and Nortel Networks (Frankfurt). As an independent consultant Alexander has advised Publicis, Landor, Fjord, Pool Worldwide and APAX and has worked with brands including China Mobile, Vodafone, 02, T-Mobile, Google, Baidu, Weibo, Jaguar, Audi, VW, Heineken and Johnnie Walker.
Born in New York City, Alexander studied Philosophy at Wesleyan University in Connecticut. He speaks Dutch and German along with his native English and is building on his basic Chinese skills from his current home in Beijing.
