Carolin Silbernagl is a social innovation leader working at the intersection of technology, civil society and public sector transformation. She is Co-Founder and Managing Director of zukunft zwei, a purpose-driven innovation agency supporting organisations in shaping participatory strategies, collaborative cultures and meaningful digital transformation.
Previously, Carolin co-founded and led dotHIV, launching the world’s first social cause top-level domain, turning web addresses into digital Red Ribbons to raise awareness and funds to end AIDS. She has served on the board of gut.org and as Minister of External Affairs at betterplace lab, Germany’s leading think-and-do tank for digital social innovation.
A political scientist by training, she is passionate about building bridges across sectors, strengthening democracy through technology, and enabling cooperation as a core competence for positive societal change.
