Christian is a Partner with e.ventures Europe. During his last 10 years as a VC, Christian initially worked out of the firm's San Francisco office and over the past five years has been investing in young Internet companies across Europe. Focused exclusively at the intersection of consumer Internet, media and mobile, Christian is part of eVentures' global team investing in the US, Europe, Russia, China, Japan and Brazil. He is an engineer by training and holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. After spending some time as a consultant and working in diverse positions in Bangalore, Paris and Berlin he found his passion in venture capital and finds it a privilege to be able to work with some of Europe's best entrepreneurs.
