Cornelius Wendel is a Partner at Bohnen Kallmorgen & Partner, a Berlin based Public Affairs firm. He consults corporations and associations on political and regulatory matters. He focuses on digital change as it affects business models especially in the area of telecommunication, new and old media and retail. Wendel is also an expert on globalization issues, especially trade and transportation. Before joining BKP in 2009, he was managing director of a foreign trade association with responsibility for government and public relations dealing with world trade issues such as fair-trade, transportation, customs and sustainability. Prior to that, Wendel held different positions in politics and served as a policy advisor in the German and Berlin parliament in the areas of media, economic, cultural and transportation policy. Wendel studied history and economics at the Universities of Bonn, Passau and Heidelberg.
