Helene Neugebauer is a Strategy, Innovation & Flexibility Expert at Octopus Energy Germany, where she leads transformation projects to build an energy system that is fair, digital, climate-neutral, and future-ready. She places justice and societal impact at the centre of her work, advocating for regulatory fairness, consumer participation, and technologies that democratise the energy transition.

Before joining Octopus Energy, Helene was part of the leadership team at Maltego, establishing international structures in cyber intelligence. She also served as CEO of the learning platform TechMePro, where she enabled professionals to gain new perspectives on the energy transition through certified online courses. At enerstorage, she developed pioneering industrial heat pump projects, learning the importance of sector coupling and flexibility as an independent business case.
