Holger has 12+ year track record in managing technology driven companies with focus on consumer centric services. He helped develop gate5 from the early days – a global leader in mobile navigation software, which was acquired by Nokia in 2006. First from Berlin and later from Hong Kong, Holger built the global software licensing business for Nokia Maps. In 2008 he became one of the first angel investors and board members in AUPEO! and joined in summer 2010 as CEO. AUPEO! is the leading provider of personalized audio streams for internet-capable hardware devices and offers radio stations that compile an individual music program for users and recommend songs to them. In addition, AUPEO! is leading supplier for audio content solutions for the connected automotive market In April 2013 AUPEO! got acquired by Panasonic Automotive Systems of America.
Holger also is an active business angel and startup mentor. He supports the Berlin Startup Academy, the Startup Bootcamp as well as the Microsoft Accelerator Berlin. He holds board and advisor seats in several startup companies in Europe and the US.
