Having made a name as the bassist in cult post-hardcore London based band Million Dead, Australian born Julia Ruzicka, went on to becoming a member of noise rock band Future of the Left as well playing bass for other artists along the way including Tricky and releasing her own album in 2016 under the project name “This Becomes Us” (featuring multiple vocalists including Black Francis of the Pixies). Ruzicka also owns and runs the label Prescriptions and co-manages Future of the Left alongside Andrew Falkous. Since moving to London in 1999 from Melbourne, she worked for various record labels, and then went on to live in Brighton working within the comedy industry for 5 years while completing a degree in Media Production at the University of Sussex. In 2011 she moved to Cardiff to focus on Future of the Left and run Prescriptions. Julia currently resides in both Cardiff and London for work and music purposes and is expecting her first child in May 2017.
