With an University degree in economics (Dipl. Kfm.) of University Passau, Karl-August Thiele gained international experience in auditing, business development and general management in several multinational companies.

From 2001 to mid of 2005 he was responsable as General Manager APAC for the card printer business of Zebra Technologies Inc., a NASDAQ Company. That is when he got hooked up with the card and prepaid market. Returning back to Germany in 2005 he established sucessfully All About Cards a company offering card production, card services and systems. All about Cards is now a leading European player in the market.

Looking into the future and based on the expertise and knowledge of the card and prepaid market the idea of mobi-g was born to offer new smart solutions beyond cards.
