OZON is on course to become one of Europe’s next billion dollar companies. Having recently raised $100 million in private investment, CEO Maelle Gavet, 33, is re-investing this to strengthen OZON’s position as Russia’s leading e-tailer. French born, she speaks Russian, French and English fluently.

Prior to joining OZON in 2009, Maelle was the founder and managing director of Predstavitelskij Dom and spent six years working at the Boston Consulting Group. From 1999 to 2001, Maelle also served as project manager of the non-profit Preobrazhenie. Maelle was born in France and received her education from Sorbonne University (Paris, France), Ecole Normale Supérieure, Fontenay-St-Cloud (France), and the Institut D’Etudes Politiques (France, Paris).
