Maria Grazia Davino

Maria Grazia Davino is the Senior Vice President and Regional Managing Director of BYD for Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia, with the aim of supporting BYD’s expansion across Europe.
Ms Davino is a recognised executive in the automotive industry, with global experience spanning from mainstream to luxury brands, and a specialisation in sales and marketing. She is results-oriented, with a strong focus on continuous performance improvement, managing discontinuity, and leading major business transformations.
Highly skilled in operational business development and innovation, she combines analytical methods, creative problem-solving, and a pragmatic approach to deliver results. She has a proven track record of success in achieving multi-level targets and driving rapid cultural change, with a leadership style that is deeply inspired by people and customer experience.
Her additional strengths include confidence in negotiation strategy and tactics, with a consistent record of success. She has demonstrated the ability to resolve complex challenges and has international experience in advanced public affairs. Ms Davino is also an expert in crisis management.
She began her career in the automotive sector in 2005 as a Product Manager at Lamborghini, before becoming Personal Assistant to the Chairman of the Board of Management, Stephan Winkelmann. In 2011, she joined Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA), where she went on to hold CEO positions for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
In 2017, she was recognised as one of the “Automotive New Rising Stars”. In 2021, she was appointed Head of Sales and Marketing for Europe within the newly established Stellantis Group. In September 2023, she was promoted to Managing Director of Stellantis UK.
Maria Grazia Davino has served as Regional Managing Director at BYD since 1 December 2024. Outside of her professional commitments, she has a keen interest in geopolitics, culture, and film.
