After becoming a banker, Mark quickly realized that he would really enjoy selling the bank itself. Living in that spirit, Mark then pursued a real estate career during which he set-up and developed multiple branches of real estate agencies like Engel & Völkers in Bavaria. He entered media business in 1997 as an intern at CNN in New York and became assistant producer for "Bizz Buzz" and “Pinnacle” at CNN, then returned to Germany and worked in the media industry as a consultant and producer. He always thought of combining Media/Internet with Real Estate. Ever since he moved four years ago to the Rummelsburger Bucht - only 20 minutes from Berlin-Mitte - he and his girlfriend used to travel through the adjacent rivers and lakes and were impressed with the size of water and nature: 180 kilometers of navigable waterways, 1700 bridges: Europe's largest inland waterplace! In the midst of this beautiful landscape undeveloped forests and meadows with magnificent views. Immediately the idea was developed to build mobile "smart"lofts on land and water to embed them into the nature. Mark found the perfect base model in Slovenia and convinced the Architect of Coodo, Gregor Kosem, to define new models together with him and expand the brand internationally: Lofts to go was born.
