Markus Beckedahl is a German internet activist and co-founder of the Internet agency newthinking communications GmbH, an agency with a political claim. Moreover he founded and is in charge of the blog netzpolitik.org where he discusses political topics concerning the Internet. Since 2010 he writes from time to time the column „Digitale Gesellschaft“ in the feuilleton of the Frankfurter Allgemeinen Zeitung.
