Dr. Mei Wang is an international digital Innovation expert. She was born in Beijing, China, but is living and working in Europe for 17 years. Since 2011 she is based in Hamburg, Germany. As the China Digital Innovation Lead at dgroup/Part of Accenture, she co-founded Chin:fected team in January 2018.

Currently, she is leading the China Bridge global program at Accenture Open Innovation. The vision of China Bridge is to build an innovation platform that helps global clients unlock growth by bringing them together with best-in-class Chinese digital players and to create responsible technology.

Her mission is to continue connecting enterprises, startups, tech players across sectors and national boundaries – across East and West. Her conviction is that it needs more collaboration to tackle today’s challenges. Therefore, she wants to help build a common vision through awareness, accepting differences, and turning them into opportunities. That way we surely can create bigger impact.

Mei holds a PhD in Science, Technology and Innovation from University of Edinburgh and two Master degrees in Social Science and Information System Design. Next to her work at Accenture Ventures, she teaches at the Hamburg School of Business Administration in the fields of International Business, Sustainability, AI and China Business Strategy.
