Michel Goossens

Michel joined Magento in 2010 where he is responsible for leading EMEA growth and expansion, and further developing Magento’s channel program outside of North America. Michel joins Magento from Red Hat, where he was vice president EMEA of the organization’s JBoss division. He joined JBoss in 2005 to lead the EMEA sales operations and further boost the company’s explosive revenue growth. Before joining JBoss, Goossens founded SilverStream Software’s EMEA operations. As vice president for EMEA, he actively contributed to a successful IPO and impressive revenue growth before its acquisition by Novell in 2002. Prior to SilverStream Michel held roles that included senior positions at Ernst & Young Consulting and Amdahl Corp.

Michel received his Masters in Computer Sciences from EPHEC in Brussels.
