Nikolai has been developing web applications since 1997 and since then continuously been involved with the web and open source projects such as the Dojo Toolkit.
Mobile HTML5 cross platform development has been the primary focus of his work and he was pushing the browser as a platform forward through projects like HumanAPI.
Since 2011 Nikolai is working on Bikeshed, a platform which tries to lower the barrier of transforming ideas into HTML5 through developing new tools and services for creative content creation for the web.
