Nina Keim is a consultant at Bohnen Kallmorgen & Partner (BKP), a Berlin based Public Affairs firm. She is an expert in digital communication, civic engagement, media and Internet policy. In 2010 she conducted a study on the use of social media for a German federal ministry. Prior to joining BKP she was active as project and communication manager for the German-American Heritage Museum in Washington, DC and as a fellow at the Center for Social Media in Washington, DC researching on the use of new media to promote social change. Keim holds a B.Sc. in communication and media studies from the University of Duisburg-Essen and a M.A. in Public Communication from American University in Washington, DC.
