Nina Klass is a strategist in the field of organisational and ecosystem development. She leads nextMedia.Hamburg, a public-private-partnership initiative to support the media and tech industry, where she and her team are building an open innovation ecosystem with media and tech companies, universities and their students, start-ups and other movers and shakers. She successfully developed and launched a range of highly recognized programs and events to foster digital transformation and innovation. Previously, she was a research associate at the University of Hamburg specialising in innovation and media, and she was also the head of digital product marketing & sales management and oversaw many digital projects and tech cooperation programs at SPIEGEL Group. She was recently an external assessor for Google’s Digital News Innovation Fund.
