Oliver Beste has over 10 years of experience as an entrepreneur and business angel in the internet industry.

Oliver co-founded FoundersLink in 2007 to make a business out of his passion to encourage entrepreneurship. In 1999 he co-founded myToys.de, the leading internet retailer for children’s products in Germany with over € 200m in sales and continuous growth rates above 30%. Before myToys, Oliver gathered industry experience over 4 years as a consultant with McKinsey.

Oliver invests mostly into internet companies with a few exceptions such as Radio P.O.S., the German market leader for in-store radio programming and advertising or Phorms, a network of bilingual schools in Germany founded by his wife. Oliver is a member of the Investment Committee of the Otto Group’s venture capital firm eVenture Capital Partners.

Oliver encourages, coaches and helps to fund entrepreneurship. He helped to launch the European seed-fund and startup-competition Seedcamp.com as Management Board Member and early investor, he launched "Catapult", a Mentoring program for Startups in Berlin and Brandenburg, and the "Investors' Dinner", a matching event for VCs and Startups.
