Paula Hannemann, 30, is Campaigns Director Germany for is a 25 million strong online platform empowering everyone, everywhere to launch, join, and win their own campaigns for social change.

Previously, Paula worked as Social Media and Online Campaigning Manager at the World Wide Fund for Nature – the largest environmental organisation worldwide. In her role as head of social media and online campaigning Paula designed the organisation‘s social media and organizing programme. Within two years WWF became one of the leading German NGOs in social media mobilisation.

Before, Paula consulted various brands e.g. studiVZ, Nokia and as a brand strategist. She taught as associate professor for strategy and innovation at the Institute for Marketing and Communications. Paula holds a master degree in communication sciences and business administration (Berlin and Beijing). Also, Paula enjoys public speaking, mainly on the topics of social media strategy, online activism and social media crisis communication - for instance at re:campaign, re:publica, social media week, buzz attack, European Campaigns Forum 12 and the European Communications Summit.
