Raimund Kurtensiefen is Head of Digital Products at DB Vertrieb GmbH, the sales and distribution arm of Deutsche Bahn. In this role, he is responsible for the digital customer experience across Germany’s public transport ticketing systems, including product development, platform innovation, and user-centric design across all channels.
Since taking on this position, Kurtensiefen has helped to sharpen the organisation’s digital product strategy. His focus lies on simplicity, interoperability, and delivering future-oriented mobility services. His work supports Deutsche Bahn’s broader transformation goals, including sustainable transport, digitalisation, and customer satisfaction.
He has been with DB Vertrieb since 2016 in various leadership roles. Before taking on the digital products portfolio, he led Central Sales for Public Transport, where he was responsible for national distribution strategy and key partnerships. Earlier in his career, he held project and marketing leadership roles in the transport and logistics sector.
With more than 20 years of experience in the mobility industry, Kurtensiefen brings deep expertise in sales and product strategy, digital innovation, and managing complex public transport ecosystems.
