Sandra Hoyer has led the development and provision of the electronic health record "TK-Safe" and the ePrescription of Techniker Krankenkasse since early 2020.

Before joining Techniker Krankenkassen, she was head of Population Health Management at Philips for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. In this role, she launched and implemented digital patient portals for hospitals and telemedicine solutions, including innovation fund projects.

Previously, she held various positions at Deutsche Telekom in IT and communications technology. She established the Consumer Health division at Deutsche Telekom Healthcare Solutions, developing and selling digital healthcare solutions like Deutsche Telekom's "electronic health record" as a service for statutory health insurance companies. She also launched fitness trackers and mobile-connectable health devices in Deutsche Telekom stores.
