I studied IT Systems Engineering at the Hasso-Plattner-Institute in Potsdam, where I received a Master's degree in 2010. Since October 2010 I am working on my PhD. My research focusses on 2D rendering and visualization techniques as well as computer vision algorithms. During my thesis we developed multiple 2D image abstraction techniques that we have also transferred to mobile devices. One of these promising technical transfers is ToonSnap. Since September 2013 we are developing the ToonSnap prototype to an easy-to-use product.
